Time really flies and Hariz is already 3 months old. No longer a newborn is he.
We took him for his 3 months checkup last Wednesday where Dr Sofiah gave him his 2nd dose of 3-in-1 jab (DTP, Polio & Hib). Like the previous 2 injections, he didn't cry a bit, much to my amazement (again)! Muka selamba habis. Masa checkup tu, Doktor tried making an eye contact with him but he kept on looking away, scanning the room instead. I was kinda worried at first knowing that that is one of the characteristics of an autistic (autism) child (shy of eye contact) but dismissed it later when he was more than happy to look into my brown sepet eyes for hours (ececece ...). I suppose he was more interested to look at the Dr. room than her face (sorry Dr. ... maybe next time ;))
At 3 months:
Weight: 6.68kg
Length: 60.4cm
HC: 41cm
Unlike Umar who was a chatterbox at this age, Hariz is the opposite. He is calm and collected but would burst into laughter when you least expect it. He still loves to play with his fingers but now would hold them high in front of him and gaze at them before bringing them to his mouth for a bit of tasting. Yes, he is developing a habit of thumb (fingers and hands) sucking. It annoys me especially when he tends to dribble a lot but I suppose it is one of his many ways of exploring his little world. I remember Zara had that habit too until it created a small dent on her fingernail from too much sucking.
Other than laughing out loud, Hariz has perfected his first rollover @ 3 months 3 days. Well done Hariz! It was again very unexpected. He didn't show much sign that he is ready to make a roll until he did! His neck is quite strong now and he could lift his head for a bit when put on his tummy. His head still wobbles though.
He has just recovered from a fever today. Alhamdulillah. Allah is Great. So overall, it has been quite a busy month for the little guy!
are my angels.
